Wearable Overdose-Sensing Autoinjector

Because of the work I was doing on the High School Concussion Detector, I discovered a passion for circuit design which complimented my love for programming. I teamed up with two friends again to build something new. We decided that we wanted to build something to aid in the opioid epidemic. Through Georgia Tech’s Create-X startup launch program, we have designed/manufactured several prototypes for a wearable device integrating pulse oxygen and heartrate sensors, fine-tuned with an algorithm for identifying when an overdose is happening, and trigger the automatic administration of a life-saving drug as well as notifying emergency services.
